“I believe that each of us encounters moments when life feels tangled, and there seems to be no escape from our own thoughts or emotions. We all have different coping mechanisms and strengths that we rely on to build a life that reflects who we are. Yet, at times, it might feel as though our own abilities are leading us astray.”
A therapist can be someone who listens genuinely, provides perspective, walks alongside you with support, accepts your emotions as they are, and offers new tools to enhance your mental well-being. You are welcome to my remote therapy sessions just as you are, to share your experiences confidentially in the way they appear to you.
In therapy, we can address issues that are currently preventing you from living the life you want to live. These might include anxiety, relationship problems, burnout, grief or loss, stress or crises, or unfulfilled dreams. Support is also available if you are, or suspect you may be, on the autism spectrum, or if neurodivergent characteristics affect your ability to manage everyday life. Therapy is tailored to each client’s individual needs and built as a collaborative relationship that considers the person as a whole. A foundation for a trust is built on confidentiality, humanity, and respect for the client’s values. I’m happy to offer personalized reflection exercises that support self-awareness and help identify small, practical steps toward desired change.

A solution-focused approach helps us concentrate on the present moment, future goals, and aspirations, as well as your unique strengths. The term ‘brief or short-term therapy’ refers to the idea that therapy doesn’t require a long-term commitment; sometimes, even a single session can be enough to untangle a particular issue. Therapy can also be initiated preventively, before challenges in life escalate, or when consultation with a therapist is needed.
Therapy can include moments of joy, insights, and even humor, which holds a special place in the conversations. Sometimes, motivation for personal work can arise surprisingly easily, and moments of happiness can be discovered in unexpected places!
You can access therapy easily without a doctor’s referral, although it is not covered by Kela reimbursement. Serious mental health challenges often require longer treatment periods with a psychotherapist.
